What is the reason for gallbladder brust?

The rupture or bursting of the gallbladder, known as gallbladder rupture, can occur due to various reasons, including:

  1. Gallstones: Large gallstones can cause pressure buildup in the gallbladder, leading to its rupture.
  2. Infection: Severe infections of the gallbladder, such as acute cholecystitis, can weaken the gallbladder walls and increase the risk of rupture.
  3. Trauma: Blunt trauma or injury to the abdomen can cause damage to the gallbladder, resulting in rupture.
  4. Tumors: Rarely, gallbladder tumors or cancers can lead to the weakening of the gallbladder walls and subsequent rupture.
  5. Chronic inflammation: Chronic inflammation of the gallbladder can weaken its walls over time, making it more susceptible to rupture.

A gallbladder rupture is a medical emergency and requires immediate medical attention.
